Organization

The District is currently operated by a staff of 75 who work throughout the district to operate and maintain its system of 20 Pump Station, 36 miles of Hurricane Levee and 281 miles of outfall canals.

The Administrative Staff is responsible for day-to-day operations of the District under the policies set by the Board of Commissioners. Elections are held every four years. Commissioners are elected to four-year terms.
